WeDriveU and our Ubuntu employee resource group are honoring #Juneteenth, a pivotal moment in American history signifying the enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation and the liberation of African American slaves.

At our Customer Service Centers and on the road serving passengers, Freedom Day celebrations salute the resilience and invaluable contributions of African Americans and promote equality and justice.

For example, Seyi Oseiyemi, WeDriveU’s General Manager serving the Charlotte Area Transit System, shared highlights from their celebration in the Queen City.
