WeDriveU Celebrates Sustainability
Earth Day represents more than a day on our calendar at WeDriveU; it embodies one of our core values: sustainability.

This year, WeDriveU team members embraced our shared responsibility to shape a more resilient future. Across the country, our teams operating shuttle and transit systems supported 2025 Earth Day and Earth Month events that highlighted the transformative power of sustainable, shared mobility. Together, we are driving meaningful change.

SF Bay Area: Shuttling Toward a Cleaner Future
In South San Francisco, California, Genentech’s Earth Day event took to the streets—literally. WeDriveU staff (pictured above), including Operations Manager Tanika Perry (center), along with Genentech team members Maria Villasenor (left) and Mandy Basile (right), participated in Genentech’s annual 5K walk/run to promote environmental awareness.

Genentech also hosted “Bring Your Child to Work Day,” providing the next generation with a creative opportunity to engage with the sustainable commuter shuttles we proudly operate for their parents’ commute to work. Children had the chance to design custom bus wraps, transforming vehicles into vibrant canvases of eco-friendly artwork. This initiative made the electric commuter shuttles for employees even more special.
WashU Campus Celebrates Earth Day
WeDriveU’s St. Louis, Missouri team was thrilled to be back for another year at the 2025 WashU Earth Day Festival on April 17th at the School of Medicine Campus. The annual event brings members of the WashU community together to showcase what departments are doing to be sustainable.

Thousands of festival-goers enjoyed a greener, smoother ride to the St. Louis Earth Day Festival – the largest in the Midwest – courtesy of WashU and WeDriveU. By teaming with earthday365 to offer the same free electric shuttle service our team operates for students, faculty and staff on campus, WashU and WeDriveU not only contributed to the theme of the day, but made it a feel-good journey.
Boston: Free Shuttles and a Sustainable Commute
Our Boston, Massachusetts team celebrated Earth Day with action, supporting customer events to promote sustainable choices, including shuttles we operate in the region that offer passengers alternatives to driving alone.

WeDriveU operates electric buses and vans for customers in locations across the U.S. and is often tapped to advise on and manage fleet transitions.

Educating the Next Generation
The cutest mini festival-goers took WeDriveU’s Watertown Connector EV shuttle for “a spin” at WeDriveU’s tent during Eco Fest.

We all have a role to play in reducing transportation emissions. So, when was the last time you walked, biked, scooted, or hopped on public transit or a commuter shuttle? Every choice matters. Let’s keep moving toward a greener future, together.
Thank you to our team members for shaping greener, more connected urban environments.
