Hop Aboard the Princeton Loop Municipal Bus System

We had a hop-tastic time celebrating the re-launch of Princeton Loop, a FREE municipal bus service for everyone, operated by WeDriveU.

The Municipality of Princeton’s April 10th frog-themed ribbon-cutting celebrated the expansion of its fare‑free municipal bus system and improved connectivity across the community. It’s hard to top driving a bus wrapped in our favorite color, promoting the tagline, “Hop On. It’s Free.”

In attendance were Councilmembers, executives of Mercer County, NJ TRANSIT and Experience Princeton, State Senator Andrew Zwicker, Princeton University representatives and other special guests.

“What started as a single neighborhood bus is now growing into a more comprehensive transit system serving Princeton residents, workers, and visitors.” – Princeton Loop announcement

How to Ride Princeton Loop

The Princeton Loop now operates with both Loop Local and Loop Express service, providing free transportation throughout Princeton while introducing a faster Loop Express route connecting local stops. For routes and details, visit the Getting Around Princeton page on the Municipality of Princeton website.

An Unfrogettable Day

WeDriveU Marketing sends a huge congrats and thanks to Council President, Michelle Pirone Lambros; Communication Dir., Craig Dinwoodie; and Experience Princeton Executive Director, Robin Lapidus and team for sharing the video with us and for inviting WeDriveU to hop along. We appreciate the collaboration and special touches, like seeing our name on the amazing custom Princeton Loop bus cake. We also appreciate WeDriveU General Manager Lorenzo Geroso and the local Operations team for the teamwork and photos.
