WeDriveU Awarded Contract for Florida’s Collier Area Transit (CAT)

Partnership brings service innovations and expansion to benefit 850,000 annual passengers

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. and NAPLES, Fla. – Aug. 27, 2026 – WeDriveU, a leader in shared mobility solutions for communities, campuses and workplaces, today announced it has been awarded the contract to operate Collier Area Transit public fixed route (rideCAT), paratransit (CATConnect) and transportation disadvantaged Demand Response Transit (DRT) services.

WeDriveU’s contract of up to five years was ratified in this week’s meeting of Collier’s Board of County Commissioners following a competitive procurement process. Beginning October 1, 2026, WeDriveU will oversee transit operations management, staffing, dispatching, and community engagement from its new customer service center in Naples.
