As higher education campuses across the country celebrated the Class of 2026, WeDriveU was proud to support one of the busiest and most meaningful seasons of the year for our university partners. From early spring ceremonies to large-scale commencement weekends this summer, our teams ensured that thousands of graduates, families, and guests moved safely and seamlessly through these milestone moments.

Across all campuses, the goal for transportation operations remained to deliver the same safe, reliable mobility options we offer through daily fixed-route and on-demand ADA shuttles on our customers’ campuses. This ensured that the focus at commencements remained on the graduates and their achievements.

Behind every ceremony was careful coordination, real-time execution, and a shared commitment by our local Operations teams to make each experience feel effortless. Whether it was managing high-traffic arrivals, supporting continuous shuttle operations, or adapting to evolving campus needs, WeDriveU’s teams delivered dependable service when it mattered most.

Driving Celebrations on Campus

While every university’s commencement was unique, they were unified by the need for smart campus mobility.

• Dynamic Scale: Our teams adapted in real time to distinct campus needs, from single-day events like at the University at Buffalo, to multi-day, extended celebrations at Princeton University.
• Extensive Planning: Long before caps are tossed into the air, months of collaboration take place with our university partners. We helped coordinate transportation plans for every aspect of commencement operations: from venues, traffic flow and parking shuttles, to safety, accessibility, communications, scheduling and wayfinding.

The result was a seamless experience that allowed campuses to focus on celebrating their graduates while we kept their events moving.

Executing a flawless commencement requires scaling far beyond our day-to-day operations for these campuses. Our teams spend weeks meticulously scheduling and training additional staff and preparing bus fleets.

The impact is reflected in the positive feedback we received from our regional partners.

Following shuttle operations supporting commencement for one of the nation’s premier universities, Jonathan Werner, Senior Transportation Manager for their transportation partner and WeDriveU customer, Longwood Collective, said:

Mobility Partnerships

WeDriveU’s 2026 commencement season began with support for ArtCenter College of Design, where our teams helped ensure a smooth experience from arrival to celebration.

As the celebrations progressed, WeDriveU supported commencement operations for university partners across the country, helping graduates, families and guests navigate festivities at Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Rochester, Princeton University, University at Buffalo, Washington University in St. Louis, Northwestern University, San Mateo County Community College District and Northeastern University Oakland.
