Watch: Driving Workplace Sustainability with Savvy Transportation Programming
Anaheim Regional Transportation and JLL/Applied Materials share tips to reduce emissions
With traffic and commute behaviors returning to pre-pandemic levels, employers, campuses and commercial properties are introducing new mobility approaches to reduce their carbon footprint. In celebration of 2022 #TDMweek, Best Workplaces for Commuters and WeDriveU, in partnership with the Association for Commuter Transportation, hosted a virtual discussion to explore how organizations are influencing sustainable commute choices and improving access to jobs, education and essential services.
WeDriveU customers Jim Appleby, Project Manager for Anaheim Regional Transportation, and Vicki Sundstrom, Senior Dir., Commute and Transportation Programs, JLL for Applied Materials, joined Phil Winters from the Center for Urban Transportation Research for a discussion covering:
- Tips for serving new dynamic and on-demand commutes
- Combining transportation modes: shuttles, transit, micromobility and more
- Considerations for alternative fuel and zero emission fleets
- Making the case for additional funding
Thank you to BWC, Jim and Vicki for leading the way to a better commute!
