WeDriveU Connects, Collaborates and Celebrates with ACT in Philadelphia
The Association for Commuter Transportation (ACT) 40th Anniversary International Conference & Expo brought together more than 500 transportation professionals in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to celebrate four decades of advancing mobility, transportation demand management (TDM), and sustainable commuting solutions.
As a proud sponsor, WeDriveU spent the week connecting with customers, partners and industry peers through educational sessions, networking events and behind-the-scenes experiences that showcased innovative transportation programs in action.

#ACT26 Highlight Reel
Exploring Philadelphia’s Rich History
The event kicked off with a guided walking tour on Sunday through Philadelphia’s historic district, hosted by WeDriveU.

Attendees explored iconic landmarks, walked the city’s famous cobblestone streets and experienced the history that makes Philadelphia one of America’s most significant cities.
Building Connections
WeDriveU partnered with Tripshot parent company Transit Technologies to co-host a lively customer appreciation event at Flight Club Philadelphia where customers, partners and colleagues enjoyed networking and friendly social darts competition.

Cristina Hallner, Sr. Director of Marketing, added: “It gave our guests a fun atmosphere to re-energize after a long day of sessions. Plus, learning how to play darts as teams gave way to building new relationships with industry peers.”
Showcasing Innovation

One of the week’s most anticipated events was ACT’s campus tour of the University of Pennsylvania transit program sponsored by WeDriveU. Guests visited UPenn’s Transit Center, maintenance facility and WeDriveU’s customer service center, learned about their transportation services using 100% powered electric fleet and experienced a guided bus tour of architecture on campus.
“A highlight of this year’s conference was hosting the sold-out UPenn campus tour,” said Marissa Basile, Vice President of Customer Success at WeDriveU.
Marissa added, “It was a pleasure to see so many passionate colleagues show up on the last day to learn about the operations and campus community. Spending quality time over the week with our customers and partners at ACT is an experience I look forward to all year; thanks to ACT for hosting us to celebrate their 40th this year!”
Learning, Sharing and Advancing Mobility
Throughout the conference, attendees participated in educational sessions covering transportation demand management, commuter programs, sustainability, mobility innovation and strategies for building more accessible communities. The conference created countless opportunities for transportation professionals to share best practices, discuss emerging challenges and collaborate on transit and shuttle solutions that are shaping the future of mobility.
Director of Customer Success Cliff Stuhmer added, “It was deeply rewarding to connect with over 500 transportation professionals from across the country to exchange ideas and share experiences. While our industry certainly presents challenges, collaborating with such a dedicated community reminds me how incredibly fulfilling this work is.”
For WeDriveU, participating in ACT extends beyond attending sessions—it’s about contributing expertise, strengthening partnerships and helping move the industry forward.
“Participating in educational events like ACT reflects our passion for sharing transportation ideas and contracting strategies that make communities, campuses and workplaces more sustainable and accessible,” said Joanna Rustin, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications & Community at WeDriveU.
She added that this year was extra special toasting ACT’s 40th anniversary and America’s 250th birthday in Philadelphia with customers, partners and friends.
“It was an honor to serve on ACT’s 40th anniversary committee with creative and generous volunteers and share WeDriveU’s pride contributing to the logo design for ACT’s milestone year,” she said.
Looking Ahead
We thank ACT, our customers, partners and fellow attendees for making this milestone conference such a memorable experience and look forward to continuing the conversations.
