WeDriveU Joins NATA on Capitol Hill to Promote Transit Contracting
WeDriveU was pleased to participate in the North American Transit Alliance Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill this week, exploring key issues shaping public transit and the value of public-private partnerships in delivering safe, reliable, accessible transportation solutions in communities with transit agencies and federal, state, and local partners.
According to NATA’s post on LinkedIn, “It was a productive day in Washington, D.C. yesterday for our NATA board members and management committee members. We met with Congressional staff, the Federal Transit Administration, and our partners at American Public Transportation Association to discuss how we can work together to strengthen public transit across the country.

These conversations reinforced the important role that private contractors play in delivering safe, efficient, and innovative public transit services, while supporting workforce development, fiscal responsibility, and rider experience.

We’re encouraged by the shared commitment to collaboration and look forward to continuing this dialogue as we advance legislative and policy solutions that help communities move safely and effectively.”
