WeDriveU’s Ubuntu ERG Honors MLK with Day of Service

In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, WeDriveU offices are closed, and many local customer service centers are operating on reduced holiday transit schedules.

Inspired by Rev. Dr. King’s legacy and messages of equality, action, and hope, WeDriveU’s Ubuntu employee resource group members celebrated their day of service last week by volunteering at the Central Texas Food Bank. They worked alongside the kitchen staff, supporting food preparation for multiple meal programs that make a meaningful impact in the lives of Central Texans. Co-chair Keyshana Jackson added, “It was a wonderful opportunity to live out Dr. King’s vision of a ‘beloved community’ by addressing hunger and inequality right here in our region.”
