About Tiger Transit

TigerTransit provides safe, convenient and reliable transportation for students, faculty, staff and visitors traveling between campus academic and residential buildings, facilities, parking lots, local amenities and public transit hubs.

“The University continues to make changes to the way people move to, from, and around a rapidly evolving campus,” said Charlie Tennyson, MPA, CAPP, Director, Transportation and Parking Services at Princeton University. “We are thrilled to have WeDriveU as partners to bring TigerTransit and campus mobility to the next level.”

Enhancing the Campus Experience

WeDriveU operates fixed route weekday buses, weekend shopper service and late-night on-demand rides, as well as additional charter services to support major campus events. TigerTransit complements flexible commute options provided by the University, such as carpool, vanpool, cycling and public transit subsidies for bus and rail service throughout the Northeast.

Read about the University’s plan to shift its bus fleet from diesel to electric (announced in 2022) in “The Time is Now” on Princeton’s website, and the Fall 2022 debut of its first of many electric buses operated by WeDriveU.

WeDriveU helped Princeton launch a new mobile app providing riders with real-time shuttle tracking and late-night on-demand ride requests, powered by WeDriveU’s technology partner, TripShot.
